Thompson J. Oliphant is a former doctor of the USAMRMC.
History[]
Early History[]
In 1996, Thompson Oliphant, alongside Francis Nicholson, was a part of a study with the British, the Motor Neuron Rapidity of Response study, to test the reflexes of soldiers. Though never told of what the research was for, Oliphant suspected that it was to do with the development of the CincLock-VII security system. Eventually the project was cut short and Oliphant reassigned once the necessary data was collected.
Some time during 2002, Oliphant resigned from the Medical Research Command, and became the Chief Physician at the St Johns Hospital in Virginia.
When Majestic-12 planned to initiate a Cold War by launching American Chameleon missiles at various places around the world, and had started a bounty hunt to remove all those who would stop them, Oliphant was put on their liquidation list due to his knowledge.
Scarecrow[]
Oliphant was resting during a lull in his shift when he was told that he had a visitor. When he entered the waiting room, however, another man known as the Zulu suddenly pulled a gun on him. Before he could shoot Oliphant, however, the first man who had come asking for him, David Fairfax, swatted the gun aside, allowing the doctor the chance to run. Fairfax quickly caught up to him, and offered to help him escape, which Oliphant readily agreed to.
Taking an ambulance, Fairfax told Oliphant that he was a target on a bounty list possibly because of his MNRR study. The Zulu, however, stowed away on the ambulance, and Oliphant's ramblings were largely ignored until Fairfax was eventually able to drop him off a gurney from the top of a parking structure.
While recovering from the encounter, Oliphant began telling Fairfax what he could about the MNRR study, before he was suddenly beheaded by another bounty hunter, the Ice Queen.
