R. Reitze is a professional hover car racer belonging to the Porsche Racing team.
History[]
Hover Car Racer[]
Under unknown circumstances, Reitze joined the hover car racing team of Porsche Racing, quickly becoming a prominent racer in the professional circuit.
One year, Reitze took part in the New York Masters, first putting in an appearance during the parade day before the races. Upon finishing the Liberty Supersprint race, Reitze took tenth-place on the leaderboard, allowing him to move on to the Manhattan Gate Race. However, Reitze performed poorly during the gate race, and as a result of his placing ninth, he was eliminated from the the remainder of the New York Masters.
Skills[]
- Master Driver / Pilot: As is standard for anyone wishing to learn how to drive a hover car, Reitze has practiced and mastered piloting the aviation-type hover car, being able to perform aerial feats and maneuvers that in the present day are only known to pilots of fighter jets.
Equipment[]
- Porsche Racing Hover Car: Reitze's personal hover car, provided by the Porsche Racing team, which he uses in the professional racing league.
- PR Team Racing Uniform: Like all racers, Reitze has a racing uniform, comprised of a crash helmet, leather gloves and boots, and racing overalls, all coloured and patterned in the Porcshe Racing Team's colours.
- Pit Tarantula: A standard piece of equipment for hover car racers, this machine aids in pit bay maintenance during races, which Reitze's mech chief managed during pit stops to keep their team's car in top working order by replacing worn or damaged parts, as well as refilling coolant.
Trivia[]
- The name of Retize's car is never mentioned, though it is noted to be numbered 51.
- During the New York Masters, another racer from Porsche Racing who shared the same last name as Reitze participated. Presumably they are related in some way.
