Praveen Chandra is a hover car racer from the Indian Race School.

Hover Car Racer[]
Born and raised in India, Praveen Chandra obtained his own racing-class hover car and later qualified to study at the intense Indian Race School. At the end of his semester there, Chandra's skills had won him an invitation to enter the Challenger Race of the New York Masters.
Once the Challenger began, Chandra managed to take a third place position behind Xavier Xonora and Jason Chaser, leading a chase pack pursuing the race's leaders. On Lap 3, however, the twin Russian racers Igor and Vladimir Krotsky ganged up on Chandra on the Fifth Street straight in a bid to overtake him, forcing the Indian racer into a sideways lateral skid.
In Chandra's attempt to regain control, he foolishly turned his car into the wind, which slowed him down and left Chandra a huge target as three racers flew into his car. The ensuing crash caught Zhang Lao, Varishna Krishna and Markos Christos and three other racers in its wake, the various cars crashing and being flung into the magnetic dead zone fields protecting the surrounding buildings. Chandra survived the crash, either by ejecting beforehand or by enduing it in his reinforced cockpit.

- Expert Driver / Pilot: As seems to be standard practice for anyone wishing to learn how to drive a hover car, Chandra is capable of piloting the aviation-type hover car. His talents as a racer won him an invitation to take place in the Challenger Race, however, he was inexperienced enough to attempt to power up his car to try to regain control from a skid, instead leaving himself an obstacle that several racers couldn't avoid.
Equipment[]
- Unnamed Hover Car: Chandra's personal hover car, which he used to participate in the numerous races at the Indian Race School, as well as in the Challenger Race, only for it to be severely damaged during the race.
- Racing Uniform: Like all racers, Rein has a racing uniform, comprised of a crash helmet, leather gloves and boots, and racing overalls, all coloured and patterned in his colours of choice.
- Pit Tarantula: A standard piece of equipment for hover car racers, this machine aids in pit bay maintenance during races, which Rein's mech chief managed during pit stops to keep their team's car in top working order by replacing worn or damaged parts, as well as refilling coolant.
