Shortly before mid-2003, the "billionaire's club" Majestic-12 decided to enhance their overall fortunes, and began planning to initiate a new Cold War, which their individuals businesses would benefit from and improve their wealth. Deciding to utilise a pair of top secret American projects known as Kormoran and Chameleon, which involved disguised battle tankers and clone missiles respectively, M-12 could make several western countries believe they had been hit by terrorist missiles. As M-12's plan began to take shape, the Kormoran ship MV Talbot, stationed in the English Channel, was surreptitiously loaded with Chameleon clones of Iran's Shahab-5s, which would launch missiles targeting Paris, London and Berlin.
However, needing the aid of the DGSE to provide them with terrorists to use as scapegoats for the attack, Jonathan Killian used his contacts in the DGSE to warn the French that they were to be an intended target, and that Paris could be seen to be saved from the missile strike and become a new dominant superpower if they helped M-12.
Though the Mossad agent Benjamin Rosenthal was killed before he could share what he knew of M-12's plan, Book II was able to collect several of his notes, and he and Scott Moseley discovered what M-12 had planned. Since Shane Schofield was one of only a few individuals who could disarm the CincLock-VII security system, he and his team infiltrated the Talbot to prevent the launch. Despite the resistance from the Nigerians, the Marine was able to reach the missile control panel and abort the launch of the Chameleon missiles, keeping the Paris-bound missile from being fired.

For three years, Hannah Fatah provided the DGSE agent Veronique Champion with information regarding terrorist attacks targeting Paris, with the DGSE unaware that Fatah and her group's superiors had plotted false attacks in order to have Fatah gain Champion's trust.

Seven Ancient Wonders[]
In 1863, the French archaeologist Charles Champoiseau found the Nike statue of the Statue of Zeus Ancient Wonder, but, unaware of what it really was, Champoiseau had it named the Winged Victory of Samothrace and then transported to the Louvre in Paris for examination. The Winged Victory would later be displayed in the Louvre's Denon wing.
After Mustapha Zaeed told the Coalition of Minnows the Winged Victory's true nature, the team began heading to Paris and making preparations to retrieve the Piece from the Louvre. En-route, they also discovered that the Place de la Concorde Obelisk was needed to locate the entrance to the tomb of Alexander the Great, and began additional plans to first ascend the obelisk to get the necessary measurements before hitting the Lourve.
However, discovering that their adversaries in the Old European Union had closed off public access to the obelisk, Jack West Jr decided that they would get the Louvre Piece first, and so entered the Parisian museum with Big Ears and Lily, the latter being present to make themselves look less suspicious. After disguising themselves in workers overalls, Jack and Big Ears hid the statue behind a maintenance screen, and the latter kept tourists away with his intimidating glares while Jack broke the Capstone Piece out of the statue's pedestal.
Once they had it, Jack, Big Ears and Lily fled out of a second story window onto a double-decker bus Stretch had stolen, before making their way to the obelisk. After Stretch crashed the bus into the scaffolding, Jack climbed the obelisk and used a laser rangefinder to get the required measurements before the team set off again.
As they attempted to make their escape through the streets of Paris, the French Army took over the pursuit from the local police. The team managed to fend off the French Army long enough to intentionally crash their bus into the Seine, where they used water-breathers to infiltrate the catacombs beneath Paris and emerge elsewhere, eluding their pursuers and allowing them to escape Paris.
The Secret Runners of New York[]
Around a week before a cosmic gamma cloud was due to pass through the Earth, social upheaval and anarchic acts of violence against the wealthy and powerful started taking the world by storm as humanity panicked. In Paris, 3,000 unemployed young Muslims stormed the mansions in the city's 7th arrondissement district.
Ultimately, when the gamma cloud arrived and began enveloping the Earth, Paris - like all major cities around the globe - were affected; as the electrical signals in the brains of almost every living thing were disrupted, people in Paris died instantly, and a tiny fraction of people who survived due to being unaffected by the cloud were left to roam the city.

A museum located in Paris, which is the largest art museum in the world. It unknowingly housed one of the seven Pieces of the Golden Capstone within the Winged Victory of Samothrace statue, which was actually from the Statue of Zeus at Olympia.
