Powers[]
- Enhanced Physiology: After being exposed to a strange gas released by a tiny Venusian organism, Furin's DNA was altered over a few months, so that upon awakening from his coma he had developed into a new kind of "superhuman", with vastly superior strength, durability, and other abilities that normal humans do not possess. Furin's abilities are exactly the same as Dr. Cobalt's, which made them perfectly matched against one another.
- Superhuman Strength: The Fury of Russia has strength far beyond that of a normal person, being able to perform extraordinary feats such as lifting an entire building, send opponents flying with a single blow, and break a person's bones with a mere tap of his finger. Against any of the half-human/half-"superhuman" children of his or Cobalt's, Furin's strength is vastly superior, being able to critically injure or kill them with ease.
- Enhanced Durability: As a result of his enhanced physiology, Furin's skin density, muscles, and bones have increased exponentially, making him far more durable than a typical human. This makes him nigh-invulnerable, being able to withstand a variety of impacts that would stun, injure or even kill the average person. Bullets and grenades do not phase him in the slightest, and even a nuclear blast cannot harm him, though the Fury was not willing to chance that multiple nuclear blasts at once might be enough to kill him. Despite their own enhanced strength, the blows from the children of Cobalt were barely able to faze Furin at all, as he was able to simply weather their punches and kicks without receiving much - if any - damage.
- Flight: The Fury of Russia has the ability to fly under his own power, being able to propel himself through the air with no outside help. Along with his enhanced speed, this allows him to travel great distances within a short time, being able to fly across several miles within moments.
- Superspeed: The Fury has exceedingly fast reflexes, being able to quickly react to danger. When used in conjunction with his ability to fly, Furin can travel great distances within a short time. He was once clocked at reaching Mach 2.1, easily outpacing commercial planes and chasing down fighter jets. While his speed is superior to that of his and Cobalt's children (and still on par with his rival, Cobalt), his greater bulk gave the smaller and more nimble Cobalts some opportunities to outmaneuver him during their fights.
- Enhanced Senses: As a result of his superhuman physiology, the Fury has enhanced senses, being able to see, hear and smell far better than an ordinary person.
- Enhanced Sight: Furin's eyes are enhanced to the point that he is able to see with amazing clarity details, and see clearly across distances of dozens of miles.
- Enhanced Hearing: Furin's sense of hearing extends far beyond the typicaly human limit, allowing him to hear different sounds at different frequencies that are miles away from the user.
- Enhanced Smell: The Fury of Russia possess extraordinary olfactory senses, which allows him to pick up subtle odors with ease and provides him a trail to follow when pursuing targets. Furin would often claim that he could smell his enemies' fear.
- Enhanced Lung Capacity: Furin has the ability to use the oxygen that resides in his lungs more efficiently than normal, allowing him to hold their breath for extended periods of time, namely up to an hour before feeling the need to breathe again. His lungs are also able to endure expose to cold gases such as nitrogen, which prevents them from snap-freezing in exceedingly cold conditions. However, the Fury is still susceptible to requiring oxygen regularly, and so he uses an oxygen mask to aid long stints in low-to-nonexistent oxygen environments, such as swimming underwater or flying at high altitudes.

Equipment[]
- Fury of Russia Uniform: A specially-made uniform Furin wears while operating as the Fury of Russia, comprised of a ballistic mesh weave that is tear resistant and extreme durability and red-coloured Kevlar plating. A yellow hammer-and-sickle symbol of the Soviet Union adorns the uniform's right shoulder plate and the over left side of the left breast. The uniform also includes a red carbon-ceramic facemask with an oxygen rebreather for high-altitude flying, and a red visor to protect Furin's eyes.
