Malena Okombo is the mother of the twin children of the Oracle of Siwa, Lily and Alexander.
History[]
Early History[]
At some stage before 1996, Malena Okombo began working for the latest Oracle of Siwa, Milo Omari, as a maid. After Sphinx convinced Milo to sire a child, he chose to seduce Malena, but the specifics of their relationship is unknown aside from the pair later marrying despite Milo not loving her and using her as a means to an end. Eventually, with his alcoholic and abusive behaviour, Milo drove Malena away in fear of her life, but only after she had become pregnant.
She was located by Jack West Jr and Max Epper near the end of her pregnancy, who wished to use her yet-to-be-born child's ability to read the Word of Thoth once they had grown up in order to stop the Tartarus sunspot from causing global flooding. Malena agreed when Jack promised that he would keep her safe.
However, the very next day, Father Francisco del Piero and his forces kidnapped Malena and took her to a chamber in the heart of a Ugandan volcano to perform a ceremony during her childbirth. As del Piero forcibly took away her son, her cries of protest stopped as she suddenly passed away.
Jack and Epper, who had witnessed the event, decided to try and take her body away before it could be consumed by the incoming lava flow, since they had failed in their promise to her. During Jack's inspection of Malena's body, he discovered another child was still being birthed, so he and Epper performed a caesarian birth, resulting in Malena's daughter, Lily.
They were forced to leave Malena's body behind, was then eaten away by the lava flooding into the chamber
Seven Ancient Wonders[]
Once the mission was over, Malena's daughter was officially adopted by Jack, and at some stage Lily was told the circumstances of her birth, including her mother's death.
The Three Secret Cities[]
When Lily was held captive by Sphinx, the Trismagi explained to Lily the truth of the nature of the relationship between Malena and Milo.

- It is unclear how much either Alexander knew about his mother or her final fate, while Lily was informed at some point while growing up.
