Early History[]
During the mid 1990's, Leon Roy Hailey and a friend began a murder spree, kidnapping and torturing nine women, which they recorded.
When Hailey was eventually caught, he was sentenced to 452 years imprisonment with no possibility of ever being released. He spent five years in prison, but did not fare well, so Hailey decided to volunteer himself to be a human test subject in scientific experiments. As a result, he was transferred to the top-secret Air Force base Area 7.
Area 7[]
Hailey was a chosen by Gunther Botha to help demonstrate the deadly effects of the Sinovirus for the President during his inspection of the facility. After the virus was released into Hailey's chamber, Botha requested that the prisoner remove his gas mask. Hailey gave the scientist the finger, and Botha gave him an electric shock in response. Hailey reluctantly removed his gas mask, and was immediately assailed by the virus' effects, and within a minute he died a violent and painful death. The President found his death cruel, but tried to remind himself that it was justified because of the crimes Hailey committed.
