Lau Lieping is a General in the People's Liberation Army who is secretly loyal to the Kingdom of Sky.

Jack West Jr and the Chinese Splashdown[]
Under unknown circumstances, General Lau Lieping of the People's Liberation Army came into the services of the Kingdom of Sky of the Four Legendary Kingdoms. Though he hailed from China, a nation that was attempting to break free of its rule under the Kingdom of Sky and usurp them, Lieping was evidently among a small number of high-up officials in the Chinese government and military that secretly remained loyal to the Sky Kingdom.
Lieping's position in the People's Liberation Army led to him being noted by foreign military agencies to be one of high seniority in the Chinese military.
Prior to November 2016, King Kenzo Depon used through his agents in the Chinese government and space administration, including Lieping, to orchestrate a secret mission to send a lunar rover the moon, in order to examine an altar on the moon crucial to the Trial of the Mountains.
A few days before the Great Games of the Hydra were set to begin, the lunar rover that Depon's agents had sent to examine the moon pedestal was set to splash down in the Indian Ocean, and General Lieping began preparing to send a crew of Chinese commandos loyal to the Sky Kingdom out on the Wuhan-II to retrieve it.
As the splashdown occurred, Lieping monitored his commandos from afar via their encrypted communication lines and satellite feeds as the Wuhan-II collected the rover's contents. As their communications had been tapped by Australian intelligence, Lieping was identified by their voice-identification system as he ordered his commandos to open the lander's chamber; upon learning this, General Eric Abrahamson noted that Lieping was a senior figure in the PLA, while Jack West Jr deduced that Lieping was not on the Wuhan-II.
Lieping anxiously waited as the commandos retrieved the rover's laser rangefinder and camera, and was pleased once his people had confirmed they had acquired them. However, from his remote command post, Lieping was unable to do anything as his commandos were suddenly ambushed and killed by American troops working for the Kingdom of Sea, who proceeded to steal the rover's equipment for themselves
