The Lalibela Mine is a mine beneath the Templar churches of Lalibela in Ethiopia.

History[]

Early History[]

Nearly 3,000 years after Thuthmosis stole them, the Twin Tablets of Thuthmosis were in turn stolen by the Templar Knights in the thirteenth century, and were buried beneath their churches in Ethiopia.

Around late 2006 to late 2007, the American CIEF commander Wolf and his people discovered that the Twin Tablets were apparently buried in Lalibala. After narrowing the location down to beneath the churches, Wolf opened a mining operation to find the Tablets, using the local persecuted Jewish people as slave labour and employing the Catholics as guards.

After the mining began, a pool of arsenic was discovered, and Wolf allowed the Ethiopian Catholics to continue their tradition of sacrificing one of their own by crucifying them to a stone slab and crushing them within a pit.

At some stage, the enslaved Jewish miners eventually uncovered the Tablets, but chose to keep them hidden from their oppressors in the hope that salvation would come later on.

While his teammates were being held captive in the mine, Stretch was kept tied up and blindfolded in a truck outside. When Wolf returned, he mocked Stretch regarding his choices to stand by his friends rather than his nation before informing him of his decision to take him to the Old Master.
