The Knife of Osiris is a knife that was used by the reputed Egyptian god of the afterlife.

History[]

Jack West Jr and the Hero's Helmet[]

Crafted millennia ago, the knife was wielded by the apparent Egyptian god Osiris in battle, and apparently had a secondary use as a "keyblade".

Long after the end of Osiris's reign, the Knife was hidden within a brick that was set into the Temple of Dendur that was dedicated to Osiris, and remained hidden from the world for the next two thousand years.

In 1994, Jack West Jr began theorising that the Temple of Dendur, relocated to the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, contained the Knife of Osiris. Jack and Max Epper received permission from the museum to examine the Temple with non-invasive equipment to confirm their theory, and so began preparing a ground penetrating radar to confirm Jack's theory.

Just as the radar confirmed the presence of the Knife, a fire alarm forced the museum to evacuate everybody. However, the alarm was a diversion to allow a squad of fake firemen to move into the museum and smash the brick containing the Knife. As the absconded with it, Jack realised what they were doing and took off in pursuit.

When the false firemen arrived at the St. Patrick's Cathedral, they headed into a nearby alley with the Knife, only to be ambushed by a man in a trench coat, who killed all but their leader with ease. As he took the Knife from the false firemen's leader, the Trench Coat Guy told him that the "keyblade" belonged to his master and that it was not yet time for it to be used, and then shot him and departed with the Knife.

Purpose[]

Though it is believed to be a simple combat knife of ancient times, the Knife of Osiris has an apparent use as a keyblade.
