The Kamov Ka-52 Alligator is a variant of the Russian-made Kamov Ka-50 chopper.

Fictional History[]

The Four Legendary Kingdoms[]

Because of its connections in the Russian military, the Kingdom of Land were able to obtain a few Kamov Ka-52 Alligators for their own usage, and gifted the Kingdom of Underworld a pair of them for use in the Underworld.

When Jack West Jr led an escape for the hostages who were being used to force his and Shane Schofield's participation in the Great Games of the Hydra, Vacheron sent one of the Underworld's Kamov Ka-52s in pursuit of them. The crew of the Alligator fired upon Jack's Typhoon truck as it was being pursued through the wrecks of old ships, however Jack eventually managed to bring it down by driving the Hydra's Light Strike Vehicle into the chopper.

The second Alligator was sent out to continue the pursuit of Jack's allies, eventually coming across them as they were figuring out a plan. Before the Alligator's crew could open fire, an RPG fired by either Pooh Bear or Stretch from nearby damaged the helicopter and forced it to land, its crew soon tied up. As Alby Calvin came up with a plan to rescue their friends still in the Underworld, Sky Monster repaired the Alligator, and piloted it back to the Underworld with Pooh Bear and Stretch.

Once the Minotaur army Alby had raised began attacking the antenna-mountain, Sky Monster flew the Alligator over the Summit Temples and used its guns to break the the camouflage netting concealing the Underworld and destroy the relay antenna in order to keep Vacheron from detonating the explosive in Jack's neck. After Jack and the others were recovered, Sky Monster flew the Alligator to Hades's nearby mine, where it was left while the group departed on the Sky Warrior.

Attributes[]

The Alligator variant of the Kamov Ka-52 is a highly upgraded version of the attack chopper with a two-seat side-by-side cockpit. In comparison to the original Ka-50, the Alligator has a "softer" nose profile and a radar system with two antennas; one mounted on the mast for aerial targets, the other on the nose for ground targets.

The aircraft typically has one 2A42 30 mm gun mounted near the center of fuselage, although a substantial load of weapons can be carried on external hardpoints around the Alligator's fuselage.
