- "Make no mistake, this school is a crucible, a cauldron, a daily trial-by-fire that will push your skills, your minds - your very characters - to their limits."
- —Jean-Pierre LeClerq on the race school
The International Race School is a teaching facility for young and up-and-coming hover car racers looking to qualify for the pro-circuit.
History[]
Early History[]
Within years of the first hover car's creation, the sport of hover car racing quickly became a huge hit around the world. During the growth of this sport, the Australian state of Tasmania (having first being sold off in the early 21st century to an oil-and-gas company before hover technology was created) was purchased by a newly-formed company led by Phillip Youngman, which established the International Racing School in Hobart.

Trivia[]
- Matthew Reilly is name-dropped as a race school student in the graphic novel adaption (as M. Reilly), with a car named the Outta Time. The car's name is a reference to the DeLorean DMC-12 from the Back to the Future film trilogy, of which Reilly owns one of the prop cars from the film.
- Another racing student's car is named the McPan Millan, a reference to the Pan MacMillan publishing company that publishes Reilly's novels.
