- —Rand Thomasson

The Grand Slam races comprise of the Sydney Classic, the London Underground Run, the Italian Run, and the New York Masters. While no racer has ever won all of the Grand Slam races in a single year, Romba is a favourite to be the first to ever do so.

The format of the Sponsors' Event changes every year to provide variety to the event.
Types of Hover Car Races[]
SuperSprints[]
Shorter races on shorter circuits, meant to prompt more aggressive driving from those more experienced, and to act as a starting point for rookie racers; These races are considered a standard hover car race to many, and are most always seen in minor league events.
Super-Enduros[]
Longer races on longer circuits, introducing strategy to events; most professional races are of this type, and the tracks used are often treacherous - obstacles that can damage Magneto Drives and shortcuts that can drastically change one's race for better or worse.
Gate Races[]
Timed races on arena circuits, where the goal is to fly under as many gates as possible in a certain amount of time - the farther from the starting line, the better. This type is often used in minor league events.
Circuit Match Racing[]
Tournament races on circuits of any length, where just two racers are up against each other in a race to complete one lap; This type is used in professional tournaments.
Last-Man-Drop-Offs[]
Elimination Races on circuits of any length, where after the first two laps, the last placed racers are eliminated at the end of said lap, until a certain amount of racers remain; used in both minor and professional events.
