Francis Xonora is the King of the Principality of Monsei and father to Xavier Xonora.

History[]

Early History[]

Born as the heir to the Principality of Monsei, a small sovereign European state, Franxis Xonora later became the King of the small nation, marrying an unnamed woman and fathering at least one child, a son named Xavier.

Because of his son's exceptional talent in driving and racing hover cars, King Francis purchased a top-of-the-line Lockheed-Martin ProRacer-5 and gifted it to Xavier so that he could participate in hover car races.

Hover Car Racer[]

After Xavier won the International Race School's first race, King Francis went to Hobart on his private hover yacht so that he could watch his son as he participated in the Sponsors' Tournament, attending the gala dinner the night before the tournament.

When Xavier was invited to race in the Italian Run with the Lockheed-Martin Factory Team, King Francis went to Italy to support his son again. Francis, having become aware that Xavier's rival, Jason Chaser, who was also participating in the Italian Run, was becoming a potential threat to his son's racing career, decided that it would be best to undermine the young upstart. To this end, the King of Monsei decided to recruit his niece Dido Emanuele to serve as a spy, one who would befriend Jason and learn his weaknesses so that Xavier could take advantage of them.

While at the gala before the Italian Run, Francis met with Dido and soon moved to speak with Xavier so that he could introduce the cousins, but was surprised when he saw that his son was speaking to Jason. Though taken aback by Jason's polite greeting, Francis collected himself and asked that his son join him so that he could introduce him to someone, then bade Jason a somewhat-awkward good evening before moving on.

King Francis's plan to use Dido as a spy proved effective at uncovering Jason's insecurities while the Australian boy was recovering from the crash that had occurred at the end of the Italian Run, though Jason caught on during the last race of the School's racing season.
