Early History[]
Born in and living most of his life in Fort Worth, Texas, Earl McShane apparently lived an unremarkable life as a cargo pilot. Indeed, the only worthwhile thing he was known to have done was write to his local newspaper to comment on how the Americans should seek revenge on the Muslims who had performed the 9/11 attack.
The Six Sacred Stones[]
On December 1st 2007, McShane had completed a cargo haul to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and retired to a hotel to rest. However, the Japanese Blood Brotherhood, having learned that Jack West Jr was heading for Dubai with the Firestone in his possession, had three of their members murder McShane in his hotel room so that they could gain access to his plane and use him as a scapegoat.
One of the three took McShane's plane from the airfield and began piloting it towards the Burj al Arab, where Jack was holding a meeting of nations to discuss the threat of the Dark Sun. However, the Burj's staff were quickly alerted to the plane's approach and evacuated the building, affording the coalition team the chance to escape with their notes and the Firestone.
In the aftermath, because the real pilot's body was apparently unable to be recovered, McShane was publicly blamed and assumed to have taken his own revenge for the 9/11 attacks by attempting to take down one of their most well-known towers.
