Delores Barnes is one of three students of the Monmouth School who disappeared without a trace.

Early History[]
Born with Down Syndrome, Delores was taught at special needs schools in New York until she was accepted into into the Monmouth School in her high school junior year, as part of a My Little Sister program.
Unfortunately, as Delores arrived for her first day at Monmouth, she tripped on the sidewalk and accidentally spilled her hot chocolate into Hattie Brewster's new handbag. Although she immediately apologised, Hattie was in no mood to forgive and shouted at Delores, using several derogatory epithets and questioning why the school bothered with people like her. Though Hattie was forced by the school to apologise for this outburst, Delores continually attempted to apologise for ruining the handbag whenever she saw her at Monmouth, even offering to pay for a new one.
The following December, Delores was lured to a conversancy garden in Central Park, presumably by Hattie, only to be tasered unconscious and dragged through a mysterious portal mechanism by Hattie, Misty, Chastity and Verity into a desolate future New York. The girls then proceeded to tie Delores up at a place that had special meaning to her, and left her to be killed by the crazed people who lived in the ruined city.
Delores's disappearance was the second of three strange vanishings of Monmouth students, with Trina Miller and Becky Taylor having also been subjected to the same fate as Delores. Monmouth's Headmistress Ms Blackman later hired a private investigator to look into the disappearances, but of course could find no evidence as to what had happened to Delores.
The Secret Runners of New York[]
When Monmouth's new school term began, the disappearances of Delores, Trina and Becky remained a hot topic of gossip.
Shortly after Misty and the girls abandoned Jenny Johnson in the future, Skye Rogers made the connection between Trina and Becky to the female Secret Runners, and while she wasn't sure how Delores fit in, considered the possibility that they had been responsible for her disappearance too. While going through the personal files of the girls in the future, Skye discovered the incident that had occurred between Delores and Hattie. When Skye was then confronted by Hattie and the other girls, they confirmed that they had left Delores and the others in the future to die out of spite, though Misty pointed out that unlike their reasons for getting rid of Trina and Becky, making Delores vanish had only been for fun.
