Skills[]
- Bilingualism: Being that he was born in the United States and raised by German-native parents, Kessler grew up learning both English and German, the latter due to his father insisting on Dan learning it as part of his heritage. Though he did not use much German in his younger years, Kessler's fluency got him chosen for undercover operations in Germany prior to and during World War II.
- Expert Spy: Kessler is a skilled undercover agent, being able to integrate himself in criminal and foreign agencies in order to gather intel. He initially acted undercover in bootlegging operations for the U.S. Treasury Department, and later spent several years serving as an undercover operative within Nazi Germany, working in concert with Hanna Fischer - who was playing the role of Albert Speer's secretary - for almost 12 years, uncovering Nazi plans and passing them on to his superiors in U.S. Army Intelligence.
