Broadsword is a CIEF soldier.
History[]
The Six Sacred Stones[]
Through unknown circumstances, the soldier known by the call-sign Broadsword joined the U.S. Delta Force, where he eventually earned his call-sign.
Broadsword was eventually seconded from Delta to the Commander-in-Chief's In Extremis Force.
Broadsword was among Wolf's men who searched for the Neetha tribe, which possessed the second Pillar of the Machine. He and Switchblade were at first intrigued by statues outside the village, but were informed that there were bogies sneaking up on them, natives who were trying to sabotage their chopper. After neutralising them, Broadsword joined in on the assault on the Neetha Village with the Congolese mercenaries.
After retrieving the Pillar and heading to the Second Vertex beneath Table Mountain, Broadsword and Switchblade were sent to lay the Pillar at the inverted pyramid's peak. Once they had traversed the ceiling-mounted hand-rungs, however Switchblade, in fact an agent for the Japanese Blood Brotherhood, slit Broadsword's throat before he could lay the Pillar. As Wolf watched in shock, Switchblade took the pillar and released Broadsword's safety harness, letting his body fall into the abyss below.
