Au Chow is a professional hover car racer belonging to the China State Racing team.

History[]

Hover Car Racer[]

Under unknown circumstances, Au Chow joined the China State Racing team of hover car racers, quickly becoming a prominent racer in the professional circuit.

One year, Chow took part in the New York Masters, first putting in an appearance during the parade day before the races.

Upon finishing the Liberty Supersprint race, Chow took ninth-place on the leaderboard, allowing him to move on to the Manhattan Gate Race. However, an hour-and-a-half into the gate race, the 7th-placed Chow collided with Dan Rein, and the entire nosewing of his car was sheared off in the process. Chow was unable to continue racing, and was thus eliminated from the race and the remainder of the New York Masters.

Skills[]

  • Master Driver / Pilot: As is standard for anyone wishing to learn how to drive a hover car, Chow has practiced and mastered piloting the aviation-type hover car, being able to perform aerial feats and maneuvers that in the present day are only known to pilots of fighter jets. His talents as a racer saw him perform well during the first part of the Masters Series races.

Equipment[]

  • China State Hover Car: Chow's personal hover car, provided by the China State Racing team, which he uses in the professional racing league.
  • CS Team Racing Uniform: Like all racers, Chow has a racing uniform, comprised of a crash helmet, leather gloves and boots, and racing overalls, all coloured and patterned in the China State Racing Team's colours.
  • Pit Tarantula: A standard piece of equipment for hover car racers, this machine aids in pit bay maintenance during races, which Chow's mech chief managed during pit stops to keep their team's car in top working order by replacing worn or damaged parts, as well as refilling coolant.

Trivia[]

  • The name of Chow's car is never mentioned, though it is noted to be numbered 38.
