Alessandro Romba, nicknamed La Bomba, is one of the most talented and highly-regarded hover car racers in the world.

Early History[]
Romba used to be enrolled at the International Race School, and appears to have been taught by Jean-Pierre LeClerq.
During a run in the New York Masters, Romba wiped out fellow racer Scott Syracuse, unintentionally injuring him in such a way that he could never race again.

Romba is different to most other pro racers, being not only magnanimous in defeat, but genuinely pleased for Jason's victory over him and looking forward to facing tougher rivals in future races.

- Master Driver / Pilot: As is standard for anyone wishing to learn how to drive a hover car, Romba has practiced and mastered piloting the aviation-type hover car. Romba is an extremely talented driver, easily able to perform aerial feats and maneuvers that in the present day are only known to pilots of fighter jets. His talents as a racer have won him many professional league races and brought him within reach of a Grand Slam victory in the Masters Series.
