Albert Einstein was an German-born theoretical physicist, who is widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest physicists of all time.

Early History[]
Prior to World War II, Einstein wrote a letter to the U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt to warn him of Germany's nuclear research program and suggested that the United States begin doing the same.
After the War broke out, despite Einstein's skills and knowledge regarding physics, the United States Army Intelligence saw Einstein as a security risk to the U.S. because of his left-wing political views and barred him from participating in the Manhattan Project. Despite Army Intelligence's concerns, the U.S. Navy employed Einstein throughout the War, though his work for them was never revealed to the public.
In 1945, Einstein theorised the possibility of an event that would cause the universe to collapse in on itself, one which other great minds had pondered for years. Realising the unrivaled calamity it represented, and even knowing that it would occur long after his life had ended, Einstein poured himself into researching the Omega Event. He eventually uncovered that the means to prevent the Omega Event was based within a quantum pulse signal that would be sent out from an ancient maze into the universe that would keep the universe from contracting. Einstein noted the relationship this had to the Friedmann Equation and amended a version of it with k>o as part of his findings.
Einstein proceeded to write another letter to President Roosevelt, warning him of the Omega Event and the greater threat it presented than the Nazi state ever would and the necessity of finding the means to prevent it. However, the Navy read the letter before it could be sent out, and they quickly became concerned that Einstein had gone mad and marked the letter to never be sent, and kept it among their records.
Einstein's amended version of the Freidmann Equation was later purchased by Hardin "Sphinx" Lancaster while serving as the Trismagi of Atlas, and kept in his mansion.
During his childhood in the early 21st century, Alby Calvin came to admire Einstein as one of his heroes, owning a poster of the physicist and hanging it on his bedroom wall.
The Three Secret Cities[]
While being held captive by Sphinx, Lily West was shown Sphinx's possession of the Einstein-edited Freidmann Equation, with Sphinx pointing out the remarkable implications of what Einstein had done in adding his amendment.
The Two Lost Mountains[]
During his research into the Supreme Labyrinth, Alby recalled part of Lily's note from before she was rendered comatose regarding the Friedmann Equation, and so began looking into the theoretical physicist further. After hacking into the U.S. Navy's records, Alby found the letter that the Navy had refused to send on to Roosevelt, and was astonished to learn that Einstein had discovered a scientific description of what would happen when someone sat on the ultimate throne during the Omega Event and the means that prevented it.
